Company "ILARIA" is looking for a "Lawyer" for a partner company operating in the e-commerce sector, which provides customers with an online shopping platform.

Position: "Lawyer"

Work Format: Full-time, On-site

Working Days: Monday – Friday

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Salary: GEL 5,000 – 6,000 (NET)

Position Overview:

The Lawyer will be responsible for ensuring the company’s legal security, full compliance with applicable regulations, and effective legal support of business processes, with particular attention to the specific requirements of the e-commerce industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Support & Compliance:

• Ensure the company’s compliance with legislation governing e-commerce and online sales;

• Communicate with regulatory authorities and analyze legal requirements;

• Monitor and support compliance with personal data protection and consumer protection regulations;

• Develop, update, and implement internal policies, rules, and procedures.

Contract Management:

• Draft, review, and assess legal risks related to various agreements, including those with merchants/suppliers, logistics partners, technology providers, marketing agencies, and employees;

• Review and assess international contracts;

• Prepare and validate legal documentation for the online platform, including NDAs, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policies, and other legal documents.

Legal Risk Management

• Identify and mitigate legal risks related to the company’s operations, retail activities, and online sales;

• Conduct legal assessments of new products, features, and services before their launch;

• Prepare legal opinions, memoranda, and recommendations for management.

Dispute Resolution & Representation:

• Represent the company before governmental authorities (including the Competition and Consumer Protection Agency and the Personal Data Protection Service), courts, and third parties;

• Provide legal support in handling customer complaints and ongoing disputes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with Product Development, Technology, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams;

• Identify legal implications and risks related to the implementation of new digital and technological solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (preferably with a focus on Business Law or Civil Law);

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Lawyer (experience in E-commerce, Retail, or Online Sales sectors is mandatory);

• Strong knowledge and practical experience with the Georgian Laws on Consumer Rights Protection and Personal Data Protection;

• Extensive practical experience in Contract Law and Corporate Law;

• Fluency in English and Russian (both written and spoken) is mandatory for working with international contracts and communicating with partners;

• Strong sense of responsibility, analytical thinking, and attention to detail;

• Ability to assess risks quickly and work effectively in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
