"ILARIA" is seeking experienced "Transit System and Partner Communications Specialist" for a partner company involved in the implementation of the New Computerized Transit System (NCTS). The system is a modern electronic tool used by the European Union and member countries of the Common Transit Convention (CTC) for the efficient management and traceability of goods in transit. NCTS simplifies customs procedures, enhances cargo security, and minimizes delays through real-time tracking. The system facilitates data exchange between customs authorities, streamlines cross-border transactions, and plays a significant role in international trade.

Position: "Transit System and Partner Communications Specialist"

Location: Tbilisi, Georgia

Working Hours: Monday–Sunday 09:00–18:00; 10:00–18:00; 12:00–21:00

Salary: GEL 2,000 (Net)

Mandatory Requirement: Proficiency in both Turkish and Russian languages for negotiations and communication with partners.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with partner companies in Russian and Turkish to clarify information and obtain the required documentation through both written and verbal communication;

  • Receive and process documentation to be uploaded to the New Computerized Transit System (NCTS);

  • Request additional documents when submitted information is incomplete.

  • Register applications;

  • Calculate guarantee amounts and submit guarantees in accordance with the Instructions on Guarantees approved by Order No. 257 of the Minister of Finance of Georgia dated August 29, 2019 (Annex No. 4);

  • Prepare Transit Declarations (T1) in the New Computerized Transit System (NCTS) based on the submitted documentation, including data entry and registration in accordance with the Instructions on Customs Formalities for the Common Transit Procedure Using the New Computerized Transit System (NCTS), approved by Order No. 257 of the Minister of Finance of Georgia dated August 29, 2019 (Annex No. 20);

  • Maintain uploaded and completed documentation in both electronic and physical formats, organized by company;

  • Document results and prepare reports.

Verification and Reporting Responsibilities:

  • Verify declaration deadlines and related amounts based on submitted documents;

  • Review the accuracy of completed declarations;

  • Prepare detailed reports regarding identified discrepancies and relevant circumstances;

  • Archive documentation and submit it to the appropriate departments;

  • Cooperate with various governmental agencies and departments when necessary.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Higher education (preferably in Law, Economics, or Business Administration).

  • Mandatory knowledge of Turkish and Russian languages.

  • At least 2 years of experience in controlling goods and/or vehicles moving through customs territory.

  • Experience working with "ASYCUDA", "ORACLE", or "eDocument" systems is considered an advantage.

  • Proficiency in standard office software.

  • Knowledge of customs legislation.
