Company "ILARIA" is seeking experienced "Declarants" for a partner company involved in implementing the New Computerized Transit System (NCTS). This system is a modern, electronic tool used by the EU and Common Transit Convention (CTC) member states for the efficient management and traceability of transit goods. The system simplifies customs procedures, ensures cargo security, and minimizes delays through real-time tracking. It facilitates data exchange between customs authorities, streamlines cross-border transactions, and is vital for international trade.

Position: "Transit System Declarant"

Location: Tbilisi

Working Hours: Monday–Sunday (Shift schedules: 09:00–18:00; 10:00–18:00; 12:00–21:00) with 2 days off.

Salary: 2000 GEL (Net)

Job Description:

  • Receiving and processing documentation to be uploaded into the "Transit System (NCTS)";

  • Requesting additional documentation in case of incomplete information;

  • Registering applications;

  • Calculating the guarantee amount and submitting the guarantee in accordance with the Instruction on Guarantees (Annex No. 4) approved by Order No. 257 of the Minister of Finance of Georgia dated August 29, 2019;

  • Creating transit declarations (T1) in the "Transit System (NCTS)" based on documentation: filling in data and registering in accordance with the "Instruction on Customs Formalities for the Implementation of the Common Transit Procedure using the New Computerized Transit System (NCTS)" (Annex No. 20) approved by Order No. 257 of the Minister of Finance of Georgia dated August 29, 2019;

  • Storing uploaded and completed documentation in both electronic and physical formats (categorized by relevant companies);

  • Documenting results and reporting;

  • Checking the declaration deadlines and amounts of submitted documents;

  • Verifying the accuracy of completed declarations;

  • Compiling detailed reports regarding identified violations and their context;

  • Archiving documentation and submitting it to the relevant departments;

  • Cooperating with various state structures/agencies as required.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Higher education (preferably in Law, Economics, or Business Administration);

  • 2 years of experience in the control of goods/vehicles moving across the customs territory;

  • Experience working with "ASYCUDA", "ORACLE", or "eDocument" is preferred;

  • Proficiency in office computer programs;

  • Knowledge of foreign languages (English/Russian);

  • Knowledge of customs legislation.
