Company "ILARIA" is looking for a "Chief Financial Officer" for a partner company.

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with strategic vision and high professional competence, who will ensure the systematic development of the company’s financial stability, sustainable growth, and effective resource management. The position involves defining financial strategy, ensuring compliance with international standards, and supporting management in the process of making data-driven decisions. Experience in crypto, fintech, or the financial sector is essential!

Work format: full-time, on-site
Work schedule: Monday–Friday
Working hours: 10:00 – 19:00
Remuneration: 10,000 – 15,000 GEL (Net)

Main functions and responsibilities:

Financial strategy and leadership:

• Developing and implementing the company’s financial strategy;

• Managing financial sustainability and liquidity;

• Introducing and supervising financial policies and internal control systems;

• Capital management and efficient allocation of resources;

• Preparing strategic financial recommendations for management.

Financial planning and analytics:

• Leading the annual and medium-term budgeting process;

• Financial planning, forecasting, and analysis of actual results;

• Monitoring financial indicators (KPIs) and evaluating performance;

• Using data-driven analytical models for decision-making.

Reporting and compliance:

• Ensuring preparation and accuracy of financial reporting in accordance with international standards (IFRS);

• Managing tax obligations and controlling compliance;

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including consideration of the regulations of the National Bank of Georgia;

• Liaising with audit firms and regulatory bodies.

Financial risk management and internal control:

• Identifying, assessing, and managing financial risks;

• Monitoring the effectiveness of internal control mechanisms;

• Optimising financial processes and implementing risk mitigation measures.

Team management and collaboration:

• Leading the finance department and supporting professional development;

• Close cooperation with other company departments to achieve strategic objectives;

• Establishing a culture of transparency and accountability in financial processes.

Qualification requirements and required skills:

• Higher education in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field;

• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial position in the crypto, fintech, or financial sector;

• In-depth knowledge of international accounting and financial reporting standards (IFRS);

• Practical experience in budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting;

• Knowledge of financial risk management and internal control mechanisms;

• Experience working with regulatory requirements (knowledge of National Bank regulations is desirable);

• Thorough knowledge of tax legislation;

• Strong financial analytics skills and experience in data-driven decision-making;

• Experience in team management and leading strategic financial processes;

• High sense of responsibility, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills;

• Good command of English (preferably at a professional level).
