The Company "ILARIA" is looking for a lawyer with experience in the crypto, fintech, or financial sector. 

Position: "Lawyer"
Work format: full-time, on-site
Work schedule: Monday–Friday
Working hours: 10:00 – 19:00
Salary: GEL 4,000 – 6,000, depending on qualifications

Purpose of the position:
To ensure the legal security of the company’s operations, full compliance with regulations, and effective support of business processes, especially considering the specifics of the crypto and fintech sectors.

Main functions and responsibilities:

Legal support and compliance:

• Ensuring the company’s operations comply with current legislation (Crypto / FinTech / Payments);

• Communication with regulatory authorities and analysis of legal requirements;

• Supporting compliance with AML/CFT, KYC, and data protection regulations;

• Developing/updating internal policies and procedures.

Contract management:

• Drafting various types of contracts (employment, services), analyzing them, and assessing legal risks (merchants, partners, technology providers, etc.);

• Legal assessment of international agreements;

• Preparation of NDA, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and other legal documents.

Legal risk management:

• Identifying and preventing legal risks related to the company’s activities;

• Legal assessment of new products/functions before their market launch;

• Preparing legal conclusions and recommendations for management.

Dispute management and representation:

• Representing the company in relations with government agencies and third parties;

• Legal support for claims and disputes.

Collaboration with internal teams:

• Close collaboration with product development, compliance, finance, and operations teams;

• Timely identification of legal issues when implementing new technological solutions.

Qualification requirements and required skills:

• Higher legal education;

• At least 3 years of work experience; experience in the Gaming / FinTech / Crypto / Payments sector is required;

• Knowledge of legal regulations related to cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology is required;

• Knowledge of the regulatory framework for banking and payment systems;

• Practical experience in contract law;

• Good command of English (written and spoken); Russian will be considered an advantage;

• High sense of responsibility and analytical thinking;

• Attention to detail and ability to assess risks;

• Initiative and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
