The Company "ILARIA" is seeking a "QA Engineer (Manual & Automation)" for a partner company. 

Position: "QA Engineer (Manual & Automation)"

Work format: Full-time, on-site

Location: Tbilisi, Saburtalo district 

Working days: Monday – Friday 

Working hours: 10:00 – 19:00 

Salary: 3 500 – 4 500 GEL (Net) 

Number of openings: 1 

Key Responsibilities: 

Software Testing & Quality Assurance: 

• Perform and lead both manual and automated testing of software applications; 

• Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, API, and integration tests; 

• Ensure high product quality through thorough validation of features and releases. 

Test Design & Automation: 

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites; 

• Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and QA processes; 

• Continuously improve test coverage through automation. 

Data & Database Validation: 

• Validate business logic through direct database testing; 

• Write and execute SQL queries to verify data accuracy and consistency; 

• Analyze and validate financial transactions, balances, and trading records at the database level.

Defect Management & Reporting: 

• Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools; 

• Manage the full defect lifecycle, including prioritization and resolution follow-up; 

• Provide clear and structured reporting on testing results and quality metrics. 

Collaboration & Process Improvement: 

• Review product requirements and provide early QA input during planning and design phases; 

• Collaborate closely with Product and Development teams to ensure quality alignment; 

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards; 

• Work effectively within a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment. 

Leadership & Mentorship: 
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level QA engineers; 
• Promote QA best practices and a quality-driven culture within the team. 

Requirements: 

• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance; 

• Strong hands-on experience in both Manual Testing and Test Automation; 

• Solid experience in Database Testing, including: 
      – Writing and executing SQL queries; 
      – Validating data accuracy and consistency; 
      – Verifying financial data such as trade calculations, balances, and transaction records; 

• Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar); 

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices; 

• Experience with API testing; 

• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA or similar); 

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; 

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of QA processes and deliverables.

Nice to Have: 

• Experience in financial, trading, or blockchain-based systems; 

• ISTQB Advanced Level certification; 

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests; 

• Experience in performance and/or security testing.
