We're looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to own the player-facing design across our new B2C iGaming brand in Africa. You will drive design quality end-to-end - from discovery and user research through to pixel-perfect Figma deliverables - working together with Product, Engineering, and CRM teams. iGaming experience is essential. You must understand the product deeply: how players think, how payment flows feel, and how to make complex sportsbooks and casino UX feel effortless on a mobile screen.

Key roles and responsibilities:

• Designing Pre-Match and Live (In-Play) betting functionality, Bet Builder, Cash-Out, and Live streaming integrations, optimized for an African, highly Mobile-First audience;

• Optimizing odds visualization, Bet Slip UX, and Multi-Bet functionality on both the website and Android platform, as the company's main operating channels;

• Optimizing navigation between Casino and Sportsbook platforms to create a Seamless Player Experience across all verticals and improve Cross-Product Migration;

• Partnering with gaming studios and Live providers to optimize user experience (UX) and improve product integration Touchpoints;

• Developing and managing a scalable, component-based Design System in Figma - ensuring a consistent visual language across all verticals and platforms (Web, iOS, Android);

• Leading Design Reviews, critique, and documentation processes; instilling high-quality standards and Best Practices within the team;

• Collaborating closely with Front-End developers to ensure Pixel-Perfect implementation of design and an efficient Dev-Handoff process;

• Integrating Responsible Gambling principles and regulatory compliance standards across all user interface Touchpoints;

• Actively participating in forming product strategy: leading Product Discovery sprints, developing the Roadmap, and defining OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).

• Designing payment architecture (Payment UX) and KYC/AML onboarding processes, optimized for low-bandwidth, mobile-first African markets.

Experience, education, and skills:

• 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, including in the iGaming industry - focusing on Sportsbook, Casino, or Live games;

• Expert level in Figma: knowledge of complex tools (Auto-layout, Variants, component libraries), interactive prototyping, and delivering a clean, structured project to developers (Clean Dev-Handoff);

• Experience in designing both user (player) oriented interfaces and highly complex back-office tools and systems;

• Adapting designs for environments with specific technical challenges - optimizing for low-end Android devices and low-bandwidth connections;

• Experience in independently planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative research with users and stakeholders;

• Data-driven UX design: practice working with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4); close collaboration with CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) and A/B testing teams; presenting well-reasoned research findings to Product Managers (PM) and C-Level management;

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to communicate more effectively with developers and better understand technical constraints;

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and understanding iterative product development principles;

• Experience in building and managing a scalable Design System from scratch;

• Experience working in the African digital market, specifically in the areas of fintech, payments UX, and KYC verification screen design.
